The Reality of Stars

A time ago in Australia, I chanced upon a dark path, and happened to glance up. Through dark branches I saw a multitude of pinpricks - heaven's light shining. I then heard what I thought was a possum and switched on my torch. The branches lit up brightly, but the stars disappeared. My reality came much closer. So often we are caught up in the reality of the branches, but the truth is found as we switch off the torch and gaze through the branches - to see the reality of stars.

Driving in Kathmandu

Well, the driving conditions in Nepal are quite something, and it takes a bit of getting used to trying to dodge the people, cows, other motorbikes, cars, buses, mini buses, water trucks, dogs, more people...

Here are just a few clips of what we experience to and from home, as we go to language study, work or shopping...

People also transport almost anything on their bikes - here are two guys ... behind the white SUV...
