Why "The Reality of Stars"?

These are just a few of many thoughts that either buzz over the surface of my mind or dive deep - either way these keep me curious and asking questions of myself and the world around me. Some of these pieces are from a Creative Writing Circle - The International Writing Club - Mark, Steve and I have been encouraging one another over some time. These pieces will be prefaced with IWC.

Boys will be boys

This is how I prepared David for Monsoon season.

The smallest raincoat available.

This is how David enjoys Monsoon season.

Find undrained rainwater in one of the many pot plants.

Add more water.

Check depth.

Check fun factor.

Double check fun factor.

Have fun!

Take a break from having fun and say hallo to neighbour returning from school.

"I am sure they will see me soon..."

"Nemaste!" "Does he have measles?"

No. Just mud. Everywhere.

So I clean him up and he has a sleep.  Later the afternoon I find him...

In the mud patch in our garden.

No, that is not chocolate around his mouth -  building up his immunity.
At least he is having fun - and creating laundry for me in the process.

  1. Beautiful photos! You have a good tolerance level for mess. I would probably have groaned or put some rules down, but kids need to have fun and learn about the world they are living in. And, of course, build up their immunity! :)
